Learn Not To Be Troubled

Learn Not To Be Troubled

When I rose up this morning and I was sitting on the side of the bed talking to God within my heart about a condition of my body that has been troubling me.  And I heard these words,

As I looked in God’s Word I noticed that the word Trouble and Troubled, along with other root words of trouble was mentioned 206 times.  Trouble Is A Human Experience!  Trouble is commonly known by all, at every age and at many points in our lives. And if you have not met him, you shall meet “Trouble” along the way.  Trouble got a way of finding you and knocking on the door of your heart.

Webster defines TROUBLE ~ it means to Agitate Mentally or Spiritually: Worry, Disturb; Mistreat, Oppress, Distress.  To produce Physical Disorder in! (In other words, Trouble can make you Sick) To put into a Confused State! (Trouble can Confuse your Mind)

Psalms 102:1-11, 23-28

When the Psalmist wrote this he was TROUBLED these words were a Prayer of the Afflicted, when he was overwhelmed and he poured out his complaint before the Lord.  This was a Crying Song or a Psalm of Distress.  In other words, he was stressed out! The Psalmist Reveals

  • The Voice (v 1,5)
  • Emotions & Feelings (v 1-2,5,9)
  • The Bones (v 3,5)
  • The Heart (v 4) (Spiritual Heart & Physical Heart)
  • The Appetite (v 4,9) (sometimes we OVER-EAT instead)
  • The Memory (v4)
  • The Skin (v 5)
  • The Eyes (v 7,9)
  • Tear Ducts (v 9)
  • Strength (v 23)

Job who was very acquainted with TROUBLE said in Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.

In Job 14:7-9, For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.  Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

MARTHA and MARY two sisters were compared in God’s Word in

Luke 10 38-42 Martha was worried always agitated and anxious, hurried and stressed out.  But Mary Sat at Jesus’ Feet, Heard His Word, Put First Things First, Anointed Jesus, Had Faith in Him, and she Worshipped Him by falling down at His feet.  That’s the reason Jesus told Martha, Martha you are caring for the many things of this world too much, but the one thing that you really need, your Sister Mary has “Chosen That Good Part” I Shall Not Take It From Her.  No Sir! No Mam!  She Has Chosen To HEAR and Believe My Word….. This is what the Lord’s Will is for us to CHOOSE THAT GOOD PART.

COMMANDMENTS: St. John 14:1, 27

Let not your Heart Be troubled Believe in God and Believe in me (Jesus).

John 1:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Troubled Hearts and Fear are Forbidden by God…

We are too keep prayer inside our souls and when we are troubled.
